Our solution: People

People are the most important asset in any business continuity solution. Not only because of their skills and preparation but also because they represent the solution when organized as a response team. People data, therefore, are of extreme importance and typically need to be normalized and enhanced when imported from an internal source such as the Human Resources (HR) Department. Our SaaS solution typically interfaces with an internal data feed and imports people data once a day. Because of the nature of business continuity, data from HR sources must be supplemented: for example, in an emergency you will want access to home and personal cell phone numbers, know each person’s away-days for travel or vacation, and, for key business continuity members, be able to track their geolocation data.

The ability to create analytic reports from people data is a key feature of our SaaS solution: for example, you will want to know the names of backup owners for every line of business or identify colleagues within a region who have similar skills: can IT specialists in Rotterdam replace IT colleagues in an office in central Germany? Can a call center in London replace a call center in Leeds that has suddenly lost electricity?
